Open source 5.9GHz drivers and CALM FAST daemon

Just this week the organizers of the Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge published an updated reference communication stack for participants in the competition.

The stack contains modified drivers for Atheros wireless cards as well as a user-space daemon which allows one to communicate for example vehicle-to-vehicle or vehicle-to-roadside using the CALM FAST protocol. It's described in the accompanying doc as a "generic, light-weight, open-source IEEE 802.11p implementation for Linux, based upon the original CVIS implementation".

You can find code and documentation at the GCDC site.
